Scientists from Peking University in Beijing have created "Chemically Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells" using a cocktail of just 7 compounds, 4 of which are already in clinical use. The findings are exciting because using drugs to reprogram stem cells carries little risk of producing genetic mutations compared to traditional methods.
